CWC Coping with Cancer
We meet on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month and it is a drop in group for anyone affected by a cancer diagnosis - the patient, their carer or family member. The group is friendly and informal and the people who attend receive great benefit. At the group we also have a team of complementary therapists offering 30 minute sessions of reflexology, massage, reiki etc to help aid relaxation and stress relief.
Attendance, Refreshments and the therapies are all free of charge.

Recreation Ground
The recreation ground is a central part of the village with a well equipped playground for children as well as fitness apparatus. It is home to Bowden Cricket Club and the Market Harborough Lawn Tennis Association. It is also used by many dog owners and dog litter bins are provided around the perimeter.
Recycle
There is a full recylcing facility at The Riverside Industrial Estate, off the Rockingham Road, Market Harborough.
All residents should now have a recyling wheelie bin for card, paper, plastics (excluding black plastic), cartons, cans and glass.
A clothes and blanket etc recyling point can be found both at
Great Bowden Pre-school (Pre-school) hours which receives a donation from the Firefighters Charity for collections.
