Bowden Cricket Club
Bowden Cricket Club is based at Great Bowden Recreation Ground and is presently celebrating its 125th anniversary.
The Club has a senior section that fields three weekend sides and two midweek sides each week. In addition, there is a thriving junior section, which fields sides at four different age group levels and which boasts over 100 members.
Bowden C.C. is one of only a few clubs within Leicestershire that has attained the England & Wales Cricket Board 'Clubmark' accreditation, which recognises it as a safe effective and child friendly sports club.
